I am a research scientist working to improve hearing aids. I earned my PhD in Hearing and Speech Sciences from the University of Maryland and my BA in Creative Writing and Psychology from Northwestern University. I also have a graduate certificate in statistics.
I like hiking, reading, coffee, my cats Francis & Pablo & Daphne & Louie & Simon, touring historic houses, trying to crochet, and buying fancy soaps. I also have a 1-year-old son named Ira.
